Regathering for Worship
We’re excited to announce that Greater Hope Church has a new location for Sunday worship! After eight months out of Mulberry High School, we can’t wait to see you again on Sunday mornings.
We purchased the old St Luke’s Episcopal Church in Mulberry and our now beginning our Phase 1 improvements. Please be patient as we walk together through this process.
As you may expect, our gatherings will look a little different during this next season. Let’s embrace the path that God has planned for us! Please be prepared to sacrifice preferences and comfort. Invite friends and neighbors to join us in-person and online. Pray for our church and our city.
It will be an adventure, but what a great time to remember what we’re all about! We exist for His glory and the mission He has given us in Mulberry!
Where is Greater Hope’s new location?
Our new location is right in the middle of town at 505 NE 1st Ave, Mulberry, FL 33860. Turn on 5th St from Church Ave (Hwy 37) and then take an immediate left onto 1st Ave. The building is on the right.
When will Greater Hope meet on Sundays?
For now, we’ll meet on Sunday mornings at 9am and 11am and Sunday evenings at 5pm.
Why is Greater Hope offering two morning services?
We’re offering two services so that more people can have the opportunity to worship with us and to keep everyone spread out due to COVID-19.
Will Greater Hope be offering classes for kids?
Classes are offered for kids (infants through 2nd grade) during the 11am service. A self-serve nursery will be available during the 9am service.
Greater Hope Kids’ ministry will provide a kids’ worship bulletin which you can pick up on the way into the service. We love having our kids in worship with us—so don’t worry about the “joyful noises” that they make.
Kids’ classes will be offered at the 5 pm service for 3 year-olds through 5th grade.
What other steps is Greater Hope Church taking to address COVID-19?
When you arrive, our signs and greeters will be at the front door to meet you. We’ll be taking recommended precautions and encouraging social distancing during our services. The room will be cleaned thoroughly before and after service. Please feel free to wear a mask.
Bulletins will be available to pick up on your way into service. We will not pass an offering plate but will have offering baskets at the back of the room so that you can place your gift or connect card on your way out. You can also give online at greaterhopemulberry.org/give.
If you don’t feel well or have health concerns, please stay home and join us online.
What if I can’t return at this time?
We will continue to offer our services online for those who can’t attend in-person. The service will livestream at 9am, and the recordings will be available after service on our website and Facebook page.
